Anti-Ragging Policy at M. R. College of Education

M. R. College of Education, we are firmly committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students pursuing B.Ed and D.El.Ed programs. We strictly uphold a Zero Tolerance Policy against ragging, as we believe that every student deserves to learn, grow, and build their future in an atmosphere free from fear, harassment, or intimidation. Ragging is not only a punishable offense but also a serious violation of personal dignity and human rights.

Ragging in any form—whether physical, verbal, emotional, or psychological—is strictly prohibited within the campus and its surrounding areas. The college follows a stringent disciplinary system, and any student found guilty of engaging in ragging will face strict actions, including suspension, expulsion, and legal proceedings as per government norms. We strongly encourage students to report any such incidents without hesitation, with full assurance that their identity will remain completely confidential.

To build awareness and prevent such activities, M. R. College of Education regularly organizes anti-ragging awareness programs, seminars, and orientation sessions. These initiatives aim to educate students about the negative impact of ragging and promote a culture of empathy, respect, and mutual support. Our dedicated Anti-Ragging Committee actively monitors the campus environment and ensures immediate action against any reported cases.

We encourage all our students to uphold the values of discipline, unity, and professionalism, and to contribute towards creating a positive, friendly, and nurturing educational environment for everyone.
